INTENSIVE COURSE
Sports Coaching (basics)
Dates: 03 January 2012 - 15 January 2012
CERTIFICATE (7.5 ECTS)
Certificate obtained: According to „Global Framework for the Recognition of Coaching Competence and Qualifications“ by The European Coaching Council and The International Council for Coach Education – the participants will be given licence B „Coach of Performance –Oriented Athletes“.
Competences obtained: the participants will

learn to use coaching theory and concepts, will be able to identify talented atleteswhile using modern coaching technologies;

be trained to prepare sportsmen for competitions by planning, organising, conducting and evaluating the appropriate programmes and sessions;

gain skills in planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating the training and sport performance of athletes.

Total hours: 200 hrs.
Theory (lectures): 64 hrs.
Practical work: 36 hrs.
Student self-study: 100 hrs.
Assessment: multiform dependent on subjects

TUITION FEES
Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education charges a tuition fee of 300 € per course. The fee covers all course work, printed handouts and exams.
