NBN Coach-Training is the Network of institutions all actively involved in the theoretical and/or practical part of coach training. The NBN Coach-Training pivot is a good dissemination of information to partners about teachers’ specific competences and about ongoing and/or planned developmental / research work. Furthermore, it is a specific purpose to promote educator mobility between the educational and sports institutions in order to share knowledge of the respective sectors and to promote co-operation for competence development and application of scientific knowledge in sport area. This new knowledge is important to be shared with others to stimulate further mobility.
The aim of the seminars:
– To promote joint development and quality assurance in coach training.
– To share knowledge on the content and learning methods in the respective curricula of the partner institutions.
– To develop the professional competences of the theoretical and practical educators, also considering the fact that some institutions have educators, who do not have a specific background as coaches.
– To promote the interest and application of evidence-based knowledge at the partner institutions.
The participants
– Young coaches, students.
Certificate
– After the seminars the participants will be given an academic certificate of 9 ECTS.

Total number of contact hours in one seminar is 16 h.
The project covers traveling and accommodation costs
Not paid expenses - Students’ meals; salary for the lecturers.
The coordinator of each seminar is responsible for:
– The lecturer to be an expert of the topic.
– Free education for project participants.
– Organization of the seminar in his / her country.
Examination methods
– In written form and practical demonstration.
Deadlines
The selection of participants should be completed till 1 December, 2010.
