WELCOME TO LITHUANIAN SPORTS UNIVERSITY

Lithuanian Sports University (LSU) is devoted to initiating and developing strong links of cooperation with other higher education institutions with the aim to exchange experience seeking to improve quality of education, training and research.

The University has been participating in a number of EU initiatives such as TEMPUS and SOCRATES. Starting from the year 1998 when Lithuania launched SOCRATES programme the number of partner universities has been constantly increasing. The University is a member of a number of high-profile international networks and associations.

Aiming to include an international dimension in all education, the University encourages international mobility of students and staff in cooperation with international partner institutions. At present LSU is involved in exchange activities with 59 European universities. The University seeks to create opportunities for local students to get a taste of Europe and for international students to experience the students‘ life in Lithuania.

Studying abroad is at the same time adventurous, fascinating and challenging. As one foreign student said about his experience, "It was the voyage to the unknown". It is always good to take a map in the journey like this.
